Carrier Infinity 96 59TN6B 100C21–22
The 59TN6B 100C21–22 is the 100,000 BTU/h, 21-inch-wide Infinity 96: 65,000 BTU/h on low fire, 98,000 BTU/h output on high, 96.1% AFUE upflow and horizontal, with a 1 HP constant-airflow ECM blower. It serves larger, older houses whose heat-loss calculation lands above the 080 size.

Low fire is 65,000 BTU/h input and 63,000 BTU/h output; high fire is 100,000 BTU/h input and 98,000 BTU/h output, the family's highest output figure. Carrier certifies 96.1% AFUE upflow and horizontal and 95.0% downflow, with the widest certified high-heat temperature rise range in the family (45 to 75 °F).
The 1 HP communicating blower moves 1,575 CFM in high heat and up to 2,160 CFM for cooling at 0.5 in. w.c., enough for a 5- to 6-ton coil. A 20-inch factory-supplied media cabinet comes with the size, and the communicating control adjusts blower behaviour through the Infinity system.
Houses that genuinely calculate to 100,000 BTU/h input are uncommon among newer Lower Mainland homes. The Infinity 96 earns its place in larger, older houses with real heat loss, and the size is chosen from the calculation, never from the old furnace's plate.

Questions people ask
Is the 100C21–22 the biggest Infinity 96?
No. The family tops out at the 120C24–22 (120,000 BTU/h input). This size is the 100,000 BTU/h step in the 21-inch cabinet.
Why is the high-heat temperature rise range wider on this size?
Carrier certifies 45 to 75 °F for the 100C21–22's high heat, versus 40 to 70 °F on most sizes. The rise range is a certified operating window for the installed airflow, not a recommendation on its own.
