Why this site exists

Furnace information online is either a manufacturer brochure or a contractor’s sales page. Neither tells you what code 31 means on the control you actually own, or that the same number means something else on the previous generation. GasFurnace.ca is built to be the reference in the middle: every brand, series and status code documented from the manufacturer’s own Canadian material, with the document version and the date it was checked.

The commercial side is simple and stated everywhere: if you are in Greater Vancouver, BC Wide will repair, replace or install the furnace. If you are anywhere else in Canada, use the reference and take it to a licensed contractor near you.

How content is verified

Records move from draft to verified to published. A record is published only when it carries its sources, a verification date and, for models, the manufacturer’s capacities and efficiency by variant. Unknown values are shown as unknown rather than guessed. Reviews, licences, warranties, rebates and prices are displayed only with a dated source, and this site never states a review count while BC Wide’s own pages disagree about it.

What BC Wide does

BC Wide Heating & Air Conditioning installs, repairs and maintains gas furnaces, along with heat pumps, air conditioners, boilers and water heaters, across Greater Vancouver. Its furnace pages list Lennox, Carrier, Trane, Bryant, Goodman, Rheem, York, Daikin, Amana, KeepRite, Tempstar, Ducane, Payne, Continental, Dettson and American Standard as brands it works on. This site treats that list as a research priority, not as proof of authorized-dealer status for any brand.
