Privacy notice
This notice covers GasFurnace.ca, operated by BC Wide Home Services Ltd. It is written to be read; a lawyer should review it before launch.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect the name, phone number, optional email, city and message you type, plus the page you started from and any brand, model, symptom, code or estimator answers you chose to attach. The estimator itself works without any personal details.
Basic technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) are kept by the hosting provider for security and error diagnosis. If analytics is enabled, events such as “estimate completed” or “phone link clicked” are recorded without personal information, and form fields are masked from any session recording.
Who receives it
Enquiries go to BC Wide Heating & Air Conditioning (info@bcwide.ca) so that a real person can call you back. They are not sold, shared with advertisers or used for unrelated marketing.
Anti-spam
Forms include a hidden field and a signed timing token to reject automated submissions. Repeated identical submissions within a few minutes are treated as one.
