Carrier 59SP6B status code 10.1: rapid flash - L1 polarity fault
Status code 10.1 means the control detected incorrect polarity of the 115 V supply (line and neutral reversed) or a missing equipment ground. Carrier's installation instructions state that with improper polarity the diagnostic light flashes rapidly, code 10.1 is displayed, and the furnace will not operate.

- Read the full code on the control display through the door, including any minor digit (for example 33.2), and write it down.
