Gas furnace service in Delta, BC

Delta's three communities have different characters and different housing ages: North Delta's post-war and 1970s subdivisions, Ladner's historic core and farming edge, and Tsawwassen's established residential neighbourhoods. Across the municipality the 2021 Census counted 38,055 occupied private dwellings, about 54% built before 1981, one of the oldest stocks in the region.

Delta is not among the municipalities with their own gas inspection, so gas permits come from Technical Safety BC. Low-lying ground, coastal weather and older houses combine into the standard retrofit set: new plastic venting, condensate handling that sometimes needs a pump, and duct checks in homes with decades of additions.

Furnace service here is dominated by older high-efficiency units in their second decade and mid-efficiency furnaces heading for replacement; both are work BC Wide handles under the same permit and safety rules as the rest of its service area.
