Permits: Routine appliance servicing does not normally require a gas permit; work that alters the gas piping (new runs, relocated connections) does. The technician confirms per job.

Do you repair all furnace brands?
BC Wide repairs most gas furnace brands found in Greater Vancouver. Parts for very old or discontinued furnaces can be limited; the technician tells you before work starts.
Should I keep resetting my furnace?
No. Repeated power cycling hides the fault and can extend a lockout. Note the code, reset once if the owner's manual allows it, and call if it comes back.
Is it worth repairing a 15-year-old furnace?
Often yes for a single, well-defined fault such as an ignitor or flame sensor. A cracked heat exchanger, repeated control or motor failures, or unavailable parts usually tip the decision toward replacement.
