Gas furnaces are shipped for one fuel. Converting to propane requires the manufacturer's conversion kit for the exact model number, which changes the orifices or gas valve components so the appliance runs at its certified input on the new fuel. This site's model pages state each furnace's fuel position from the manufacturer's product data, for example that a furnace ships for natural gas and converts with a gas conversion accessory kit.
The conversion work follows the kit's instructions: components installed, gas pressure set to the kit's figures, input rate verified by meter clocking, and combustion analyzed. Manufacturer instructions warn against modifying orifices or adjusting pressure outside the documented procedure, and BC Wide does not do field-fabricated conversions.
Propane installations have their own rules around tank pressure, regulators and appliance supply pressure. The gas fitter verifies the supply side before the conversion is completed, and the permit and inspection follow the same path as any gas work.

Can any furnace be converted to propane?
Only if the manufacturer publishes a conversion kit for that exact model. If no kit exists, the furnace stays on its shipped fuel; BC Wide will not field-convert it.
Does converting affect the warranty?
Manufacturer warranties generally require the appliance to be operated per its instructions and with approved components. Using the manufacturer's kit, installed properly, keeps the furnace within its documented configuration.
Why does the furnace need re-commissioning after conversion?
The input rate, manifold pressure and combustion all change with the fuel. Verification after conversion is what keeps the furnace inside its certified figures.
